The Eva Claiborne Institute, located in picturesque Tiburon across the Bay from San Francisco, offers advanced technical and business training for skin and spa professionals who want to improve their skills, boost retail sales, increase profitability, and ensure client retention.
The program is based on Eva’s forty-plus years of professional experience. This includes working and studying in spas across Europe, as well as starting and running successful businesses in the United States. The Skin Institute offers training in the latest skin and body care techniques, as well as non-medical pre and postoperative care. Participants will also learn how to increase retail sales without being pushy or offensive, and how to implement management techniques to energize staff and renew their enthusiasm for the profession. The classes at The Skin Institute are limited in size to ensure maximum results. They involve extensive hands-on training, personal critique, and guidance. Additionally, specialized on-location training and consulting services are available.
Eva Claiborne, originally from Hungary, has been working as a master aesthetician in the United States and Europe since 1977. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Skin Care in Budapest in 1983 after completing a five-year program, which included a yearlong internship with a dermatologist. Currently, Eva is the owner and manager of Eva Claiborne Beauty and Wellness, an exclusive skincare spa located in Tiburon, California. She is also an international speaker, trainer, and master aesthetician, serving as the Education Director at the Eva Claiborne Skin Institute.
